Thank you for braking to connect in Indianapolis!

50+ museum professionals tuned in virtually and nearly 400 convened in-person at historic Union Station in downtown Indianapolis for Braking Point, the Association of Midwest Museums and Association of Indiana Museums 2023 Joint Conference. The program featured workshops, tours and events at 15 Indianapolis historic sites and cultural institutions, 38 virtual and in-person breakout sessions, and a stellar lineup of guest speakers and performances to inspire all – from keynote A’Lelia Bundles and artist Katrina Mitten (Miami Tribe of Oklahoma) to Flash Talks speakers Mali and Alan Bacon of GANGGANG and Sampson Levingston of Through2Eyes.
